This activity is designed to challenge perceptions, build confidence, and introduce children to new experiences in a fun and safe way. Children are guided through an educational session where they learn about edible insects, their nutritional value, and their role in survival situations around the world.
Under full supervision, participants are encouraged (but never forced) to try a variety of safe, edible insects. This activity helps children overcome hesitation, develop bravery, and expand their understanding of food sources beyond the familiar.
More than anything, this experience is about confidence. It encourages children to step outside their comfort zone, embrace new challenges, and realise that they are capable of more than they think.
